Local Business Website Speed Checker

A local business site needs to make essential information easy to reach, especially on a phone: what the business does, where it serves, how to contact it, and when it is open. RankAndAudit's free scan reports a network-inclusive time to response headers alongside on-page findings; it is not a rendered browser speed score.

Start with a free scan of your website

Enter a public website URL to see a real first-page preview before deciding whether you need the full report.

No payment is required for the preview. The full written audit is an optional one-time $49 purchase.

A practical checklist for local business

A speed check is most useful when it leads to a reproducible question. A single request's response-header time includes DNS and network setup and does not show how quickly a browser paints the page, runs scripts, or responds to interaction.

  1. Separate server response from browser rendering

Use the scan's response-header timing as one network observation, not a page-speed score. For a fuller performance review, test the same URL with a browser-based tool and compare repeated runs under a documented device and connection profile.

  2. Inspect large images and hero media

Look for oversized originals, background video, and image formats or dimensions that exceed their displayed size. Preserve readable text and image quality while selecting responsive sizes.

  3. Inventory third-party code

Review chat widgets, maps, booking tools, analytics, and embedded social feeds. Remove unused integrations and confirm essential contact information remains available if an embed fails.

  4. Test the mobile contact path

On a phone, verify that phone links, directions, hours, and appointment or quote actions are easy to locate and have enough room to tap without accidental neighboring actions.

  5. Compare important pages, not just the homepage

Check a service or location page and a contact page separately. A lightweight homepage does not prove that pages with maps, galleries, or scheduling tools behave the same way.

What the scan does not do: RankAndAudit's scan measures request-to-response-header timing and inspects HTML; it does not render a browser, calculate Core Web Vitals, produce a Lighthouse score, or guarantee a speed or ranking outcome.

What this audit helps you review

The automated report is based on observations from your public website, not estimated rankings or generic industry benchmarks.

Free preview, with a clearly scoped full report

The free preview checks the submitted page and shows real findings before purchase. The optional $49 one-time report reviews up to 10 public pages and checks up to 30 links, with prioritized SEO and conversion findings plus practical fixes in a written report.

Checks cover page titles, meta descriptions and headings, crawlability and canonical or indexing signals, calls to action, and technical observations available from the inspected HTML and HTTP responses. Response-header timing includes network setup and is not a rendered-page speed score. Findings are observations, not ranking predictions or guarantees.
